Ford re-introduced the advanced technology, the Active City Stop is pinned on the New Ford Fiesta. This tech features of the concept and light detection sensor distance function to avoid the Ford Fiesta you hit the vehicle in front. Where the Fiesta can autonomously brake while in a position which is not ideal with the car in front of him.
Active City Stop feature will serve as Fiesta running at low speeds, and light detection sensor distance will be watching the road ahead 50 times every second. "In the big cities the car is running low speed and many drivers fail to brake so it hit the vehicle in front of him," said Florian Schweter, New Fiesta Active City Stop development engineer, Ford of Europe.
This feature is currently Active City Stop has been pinned on some cars made by Ford, such as the Ford C-MAX and Ford Focus. ACS feature is also won an award from the EURO NCAP in 2011.
